Before undergoing an in-office tooth whitening treatment, we must make sure you have excellent oral health. After a comprehensive examination and cleaning, any decayed or damaged tooth will be repaired if necessary. Dental impressions will then be taken to make customized gutters.

Whitening at the dental clinic will take place on your second appointment. A bleaching gel is applied to the teeth which are previously cleaned, dried and polymerized with blue light. This step is repeated until the desired color is obtained.

People often talk about laser whitening, but those words are misleading, as the laser is often confused with the light that activates the whitening gel.

A whitening treatment can be carried out at home with your customized trays. Simply follow the advice and instructions of your dentist.
